Update yourself about information regarding to the contribution to NGS Journal provided by the editorial board for upcoming issue, click here to download.

Write full address of authors and contact information as per the given template.

You have checked the all cited reference that they are written in the same format as latest paper published in the Journals of Nepal Geological Society.

Make sure, you have inserted colour figures and B/W figures in jpg format and line drawings in gif format in the template file.

Make sure that you have full copyright in the data used in the manuscript or you have taken full authority from the concerned agency for the publication in the Journals of Nepal Geological Society.

The work you have submitted has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review or thesis); that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any, as well as, tacitly or explicitly, by the responsible authorities at the institution where the work was carried out.

You are ready to provide all high quality image (colour 1200 dpi, grey scale 600 dpi, line art 600 dpi, tiff files) for publication when it is accepted.

You will not deny to arrange fonts and other necessary parameters in your figures, when editors ask to do so.

The manuscript should be written in correct International English. If you are not sure, ask native speaker for manuscript correction before submission. Sometime, If editors notice that the submitted manuscript is written in poor English, it will be rejected immediately after submission. 

Prepare your manuscript in the template and save it in .doc, .docx or .pdf file. Use surname of corresponding author to save file and it should be named as surname.doc or surname.docx or surname.pdf. You can use .zip or .rar format to compress file size. But please check your compressed file before uploading. Do not make file size more than 5 Mb. If size is more than 5 Mb, our server will reject your submission which, sometime, both of us will not notice.

If your paper is accepted for publication, copyright of your paper will be transferred to the Nepal Geologial Society. All articles published in the journals and bulletins of the Nepal Geological Society are protected by copyright, which covers the exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the article (e.g., as reprints), as well as all translation rights. No material published in this journal may be reproduced photographically or stored on microfilm, in electronic data bases, websites, video disks, etc., without first obtaining written permission from the Nepal Geologial Society.

If this is your revision submission having response to the refree and corrections in the previous submission, save your file as sunameR1.doc or surnameR1.docx. Using same template, please put your reponse to the reviewers in the first part of the document and your revised manuscript will be in second part of same document (sunameR1.doc or surnameR1.docx). You can not submit revision in .pdf format, however you can use .zip or .rar format to compress file size. But please check your compressed file before uploading.
