Membership of Nepal Geological Society

Nepal Geological Society has four categories of Memberships.

1. Member

Full membership of the society is granted to a scientist holding a Masters Degree or equivalent in Geological Sciences or a Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering and other related disciplines.

2. Life member

Any person, as defined in clause 1, can become the life member of the society upon payment of the life membership fees.

3. Honorary Member

Nepal Geological Society honours eminent geoscientists who have valuable contribution in the scientific researches in the Himalaya by awarding the Honorary Membership. Visit honorary membership page for up to date Honorary Members of Nepal Geological Society, click here.

4. Associate member

Associate Membership is granted to a person holding a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in geological or related sciences, or to a person actively engaged in the development, exploration and exploitation of mineral resources.
