The Journal of Nepal Geological Society is the main regular publication of the Society and is issued every June. It publishes scientific articles on recent geoscientific researches with emphasis on the Himalayan Region. The journal and the News Bulletin is registered with
the Government of Nepal in Kathmandu (Regd. No 1/2042-43). The journal has the US Library of Congress Catalogue card No. N-E-81 -91 064 and ISSN 0259-1316.
The articles in the Journal are published only after a review procedures followed by the society. An Editorial Board is responsible for the publication of the Journal and the News Bulletin. The Journal of Nepal Geological Society is one of the important regular scientific publications of Geology from Nepal, and has a fairly large circulation both in Nepal and abroad. Articles for publication in the journal must reach to the Editorial Board by the end of February.
