1. Member
Full membership of the society is granted to a scientist holding a Masters Degree or equivalent in Geological Sciences or a Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering and other related disciplines.
2. Associate Member
Associate Membership is granted to a person holding a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in geological or related sciences, or to a person actively engaged in the development, exploration and exploitation of mineral resources.
3. Life Member
Any person, as defined in clause 1, can become the life member of the society upon payment of the life membership fees.

Annual dues are to be cleared by the end of August of each year.
5. Admission Procedure
Application for membership should be submitted to the Executive Committee in a prescribed form along with recommendation of at least two members of the Society and last academic certificates.
In connection with the Application Fee, you could either send a cheque payable to the Nepal Geological Society or bank transfer. We prefer the bank transfer. Please find the address of the bank and account number below for the bank transfer.
