1998 UN Sasakawa Disaster Prevention Award

The jury of 1998 UN-SASAKAWA DISASTER PREVENTION AWARD has awarded the "1998 Merituous Certificate for the Disaster Prevention’ to the Nepal Geological Society for its efforts in disseminating the scientific knowledge and spreading the awareness of prevention of the natural disaster The award is announced by UN Humanitarian and Emergency Relief Co-ordination Office of IDNDR Secretariat in Geneva.
